FT Field Sales Consultant

Flextime is an award winning developer and provider of flexible time, recording and attendance solutions for companies Worldwide.  Flextime is currently seeking a highly ambitious FT Field Sales Consultant to join our team.   The Company  has been trading for  25 years in UK and Ireland , enjoying good  growth and is now providing the opportunity for the right person to grow sales in the NI and ROI markets.

The role will report directly to the MD with a lot of support from   and collaboration with the internal team.   The ideal   candidate will enjoy the consultation side of working with clients as well as the selling which in return builds strong long term relationships and high value sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive new business generation throughout Ireland from initial lead generation through to completed sale
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues for product development and marketing
  • Attend trade conferences and with aim to keep knowledge levels high, networking and building relations
  • Work with internal team to develop tender applications across wide range of public sector
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Manage existing client relationships for growth through exemplary customer service and up-selling new products and services
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge across the range of company products and services
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities to the Managing Director and maintain accurate CRM database
  • Identify opportunities for new services, products or distribution channels that aid company growth

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of five years field sales experience
  • Experience of negotiating high value deals in a B2B setting
  • Experience of working within wide range of business size and sectors
  • 3rd Level Qualification in Business/Marketing or relevant technical discipline preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Desirable experience in selling to public body organisations
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Location:

The role will require travel throughout Ireland and UK and when not travelling the person will be required to work from the Flextime HQ in Dublin.  Salary Negotiable
